Creating Entries

A default realm of journal and a blank database file named mcj.rsd is created at startup.

Click on to create a new entry. There is an entry line for the title, which is the long box below the people , places , things , and times lists. The date for the entry assumes the current date, using the format of your computer system, but it can be edited. deletes the entry highlighted in the top lists. saves and relists the entries. The border of the application will turn red when the entry is not saved and green when it is saved. Although I allowed for some browsing without losing the entry, I did not catch every case, so try and click the when you have written a bunch. The database file will be created in the same directory that the MCJ application is run from with the realm prefix you have selected. For more information on realms, see Realms.
